My View of E3 so Far
Hello, it’s me again in my shiny new blog!
I’m here to talk about E3 right now. For people who don’t know what E3 is, it’s one of the biggest gaming related events and lots of cool stuff is shown there. I’ll be focusing on the Kinect and 3DS in this post. First, the Kinect. It was shown off yesterday along with the new XBOX 360 which Engadget gave a really cool nickname to. *Goes off and looks for it* The Stealthbox. Anyway, the Kinect had a working title of Project Natal. Some of the demos were a Breakout style game (cool), a game show (semi-cool), a game where you’re a blue monster (in a way, meh, but in another way, awesome!), and a racing game (awesome!). Microsoft showed off here a dance game, a racing game, a fitness game, and a lot more. I see the Kinect being good for quick play sessions because of the no-controller setup. Just turn on, play, turn off. Looks cool, really want one.
Next is the 3DS. First, cool wordplay in the name. The 3DS is a (no-suprise) 3D DS (or more so a 3D DSi). It gained a sliding round control thingie, a 3D screen on top, a 3D slider to adjust the amount of 3D, and two cameras on the outside for 3D pictures. Its screen looks nice, and Engadget’s hands on looked nice. I like it. Good job Nintendo!
Be back soon,
